How to get to WRHC 2025
By train
Bochum main station is under construction right now! The S1 regional train should still run. You can connect to this train via Essen Hbf or Dortmund Hbf. Both of these stations can be reached via local, national, or international trains. For daily updated DB track closures and disruptions check here: https://www.zuginfo.nrw/index.html
From Bochum main station (Hauptbahnhof or Hbf), you can reach the Ruhr-University by catching the U35 metro (CampusLinie, direction Hustadt). The university has its own station. On workdays, the U35 departs in ca. 5-min intervals, and it takes about 10 minutes to get from the main station to the campus.
Alternatively, you can travel to Herne Bahnhof and take the U35 metro (direction Hustadt) from there.
From the university’s station, you can continue to the venue by foot.
By car
Head to Universitätsstraße 150, 44801 Bochum and follow the signs to parking garage P9. From here you can take the elevator directly into the venue. In case the gate is closed, use the code 2909# to access the parking garage.
